November 9
Wednesday

1st series concert, Wissahickon High School at 8:00pm

Join us for the opening concert this year for a wonderful treat. David Kim, concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, is our guest artist, playing the Brahms Violin Concerto! His playing has been acclaimed all over the world, and we are fortunate to have him as a soloist to open our 55th season. Our evening will conclude with the Dvorak Symphony No. 7, which many consider his best symphony.

Holiday Concert, Ambler Theater at 6:30pm

Welcome the holiday season with carols, cookies, hot drinks, popcorn and a movie.

Children's concert, Wissahickon High School at 1:30pm

Join us for an afternoon of fun and music, as we introduce the instruments of the orchestra to young people. It's always an afternoon of fun and surprises, don't miss it! Featuring Pokof'ev's Peter and the Wolf, Gliere's Russian Sailor's Dance, and Saint-Saens' Danse Macabre.

Menges Scholarship concert, Upper Dublin Lutheran Church at 2:30pm

The annual Menges Scholarship has become one of the most exciting concerts of our season. The young people who won the 2005-06 auditions, and who will each appear with the Ambler Symphony as soloist, are among the most promising young musicians in the tri-state area, and it's an afternoon of music you shouldn't miss.

Join us for an evening of waltzes, polkas, and fabulous arias and ensemble pieces with the PhilAria Vocal Quartet. Menges Scholarship winner, pianist Alessandra Johnson will also perform.
May 12
Friday

3rd series concert, Gywnedd Mercy Academy High School at 8:00pm

Robyn Bollinger, a previous winner of the Menges Scholarship, returns to perform the Dvorak Violin Concerto. Our concert will conclude with Brahms Symphony No. 2.
June 21

Special Summer Concert, Historic Hope Lodge at 7:30pm
